After working in the medical field, Valery revisited his dream of becoming a police officer and was hired by the Essex County Sheriff's Office in 2023 as a Special Law Enforcement Officer.

He then moved on to the Irvington Police Department as a member of their Patrol Bureau. While there, he worked alongside numerous agencies, such as the New Jersey State Police, on search warrants, drug arrests, and the recovery of guns and other weapons.
