Summit School Board Agenda Thursday: Contract, Senior Picnic
The school board has, on its agenda, a teacher contract through 2023, picnic for seniors at Summit High School, and personnel changes.
SUMMIT, NJ — The next meeting of the Summit Board of Education will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Summit High School Library/Media Center. The agenda is here.
Among items on the agenda:
- Approval of the finalized collective bargaining agreement with the Summit Education Association for Sept. 1, 2021 through Aug. 31, 2023, inclusive of salary guides.
- Approval of the Summit High School Senior Picnic on Sunday, Aug. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., location to be determined.
- Approval of a donation from the Summit High school PTO of $10,333 for a "Zen Den" at the high school.
- Approval of Crystal Marr as director of student personnel services at a salary of $140,000 per year.
- Approval of David Howarth to become the Social Studies supervisor at Summit High School, pending certification.
- Approval of a slew of advisors to high school clubs and programs (see list with agenda).
