Summit School Fall Plays Earns Award Nominations

SUMMIT, NJ - Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School and Summit High School theatre programs received final nominations from the Montclair Theatre Night Awards recognizing excellence in fall plays.

The Awards Ceremony will be held at Montclair State University, Monday, May 20.

LCJSMS was nominated for:

• Outstanding Production of a Middle School Play
• Excellence in Educational Impact and Community Outreach-Ashley Raven
• The Jo Anne Fox Award

• Outstanding Overall Production of a High School Play
• Outstanding Production of Comedic Stage Adaptation
• Outstanding Ensemble in Comedic Stage Adaptation
• Lead Actor in Comedic Stage Adaptation: Iain Alvidrez and Mitchell Sink
• Lead Actress in Comedic Stage Adaptation: Katie Evenson
• Supporting Actor in a Comedy: Owen McTernan
• Outstanding Costumes: Katherine Winter
• Outstanding Direction: Anne Poyner
