Temple Sinai Announces High Holy Days Family Services

Temple Sinai, Summit, invites the community to join us at our Families with Young Children services to celebrate High Holy Days.

Temple Sinai, located at 208 Summit Avenue, Summit, invites the community to join us at our Families with Young Children services to celebrate the High Holy Days. These services are geared for families like yours with young children ages birth to age 8. The Family Services will be held at 2:30pm on Rosh haShanah, Monday September 10, and on Yom Kippur, Wednesday, September 19. Services are free and all are welcome – no rsvp or affiliation with Temple Sinai is required.

The interactive services are 30 minutes long and filled with songs, prayers, and stories. There are opportunities for the children to sing, dance, march with instruments, touch a Torah scroll, and enjoy in a holiday-related story.

Services are led by Rabbi Stuart Gershon, Cantor Marina Shemesh, and Dr. Amy Damast, Director of the Early Childhood Education Program.
