Try the Y for Free on Thursdays and Fridays

The Summit Area YMCA welcomes adults and seniors to try the Berkeley Heights and Summit YMCA branches for free on select days of the week!

From now through the end of August, the Summit Area YMCA welcomes all adults and seniors to use the Berkeley Heights YMCA and the Summit YMCA facilities for free on select days of the week! As strong proponents for improving wellness for all, the Summit Area YMCA is dedicated to strengthening each individual in mind, body and spirit in order to support the foundations of a strong community.

With a newly renovated weight room and MindBody room perfect for Barre, Yoga and other group exercise classes, the Berkeley Heights YMCA is currently open to all with its facilities every Thursday this summer through the end of August 2016. Try any number of high energy, fun group exercise classes ranging from our popular Les Mills Body Pump, Cardio Blast, or All Terrain Cycling. For a more gentle, yet still challenging work out, try Barre Sculpt—or relax with Gentle Yoga, Balance Strength and Coordination, or the newest offering due to popular demand, Tai Chi.

Similarly, the Summit YMCA will be open and free to the public each Friday until the end of August. Friday group exercise offerings include Les Mills Body Pump, Les Mills GRIT, Indoor Rowing, Hot Primal Yoga, Barre Sculpt, Vinyasa Yoga, and Aikido to name a few. In addition to group exercise, the Y provides a state-of-the-art Wellness and Fitness Centers, 2 pools, gymnasium with full sized basketball court, rock wall, and more!
