Unlocked Car Burglarized On Sunset Drive: Summit Police

SUMMIT, NJ - Hundreds of dollars in items and an identification card were taken from an unlocked car parked in a driveway was burglarized sometime between Dec. 3 and Dec. 4, according to the Summit Police Department.

According to authorities, a Sunset Drive resident reported the incident occurred between Dec. 3 and Dec. 4. Taken from the unsecured vehicle were one navy blue leather tote bag, four pairs of mittens, one French Christmas candle, and one State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Registration Card.

Total value of the items taken at the time of the report was approximately $305, police said.
