Veterans Day Collection by Summit Fortnightly Club
In Support of Local Hometown hero, and his fellow Military Personnel on the USS Eisenhower
The Summit Fortnightly Club collected funds for the purchase of snack foods and shipping for the USS Eisenhower, in honor of Summit’s hometown hero James T. Rath.
A medic in the Navy and a member of the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad and the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department, Jimmy is the son of our long-time Board Member, Eileen Rath, and her husband, Jim.
The USS Eisenhower was deployed last week and purportedly headed toward the Persian Gulf.
