A fallen tree limb sparked a wildfire, cut power to residents and shut down a road Saturday. Officials say avoid the area.

SUMMIT, NJ - Windy weather whipped up a surprise in the area of Memorial Field on Ashland Road as a fallen tree limb sparked a wildfire and power outage early Saturday afternoon, according to officials.
JCP&L crews alongside first responders and are working to restore power, officials said. In the interim, Ashland Road is closed between Manor Hill Road and Colony Drive, officials said.
The City of Summit requested everyone avoid the area. Currently JCP&L is reporting less than 20 customers are impacted by a loss of service and there is no restoration estimate available.
