1 Arrested After Brawl At Teaneck Football Game: Police [video]
An 18-year-old Teaneck man was arrested in connection with a fight that occurred after a brawl between the 2 football teams on Thanksgiving.

TEANECK, NJ — An 18-year-old township man was arrested Thursday after a fight following large brawl at a football game between the Teaneck and Hackensack high school teams, police confirmed.
Two Teaneck police officers saw "a disturbance between several persons," said Teaneck Police Chief Glenn M. O'Reilly.
As the police broke up the disturbance, a juvenile assault victim identified Brandon Diaz, 18, of Teaneck, as a suspect, O'Reilly said. Diaz was charged with assault.

The unidentified juvenile had scrapes and cuts on his face, O'Reilly said.
Police were called to the game after a bench-clearing brawl broke out after the game's final play. Teaneck Police officers were providing security at the game and called for assistance, O'Reilly said. Order had been restored by the time the additional officers arrived, he said.

"Additional officers were dispatched, and by the time they arrived the disturbance on the field was under control," O'Reilly said.
NJ.com posted a three-minute video of the brawl on YouTube. The video was posted after a Teaneck player failed to catch a Hail Mary touchdown pass as time expired, according to the report.
After the incomplete pass, a Hackensack player runs onto the field with a gold flag and tackled by a Teaneck player, the video shows. Hackensack won the game 19-18, the report said.
