144 Pounds Of Pot Seized During Teaneck Arrest: Bergen Prosecutor

TEANECK, NJ — A New York City resident was arrested last week after Bergen County investigators found 144 pounds of marijuana in Teaneck, officials said.
Adrian Diaz-Resendiz, 30, of Queens, New York was arrested Tuesday in Teaneck, according to a news release from Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Agents of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Tax Force discovered Diaz-Resendiz "was transporting bulk shipments of marijuana through Bergen County," the news release said.

Investigators searched a white Dodge Ram pickup truck and found approximately 144 pounds of marijuana in one-pound packages, according to the news release.
Diaz-Resendiz faces one count of first-degree possession of marijuana over 25 pounds, according to Musella's office.
