BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A teen girl from Hackensack who was missing for two weeks has been found safe, police said on Monday.
The 15-year-old was located in Hackensack, said a police spokesperson.
"She was unharmed and turned over to her mother," said Captain Gregory Zisa.
Police had posted on social media in early May that on April 28, a relative dropped the girl off at a Teaneck bus stop, and she hadn't been heard from since.
Local police worked with other agencies to locate her.
No more information was available on Monday.
