"She was unharmed and turned over to her mother," said Captain Gregory Zisa. Police had posted on social media in early May that on April 28, a relative dropped the girl off at a Teaneck bus stop, and she hadn't been heard from since. Local police worked with other agencies to locate her. Organized and Moderated by New Milford Council President Matthew Seymour, Esq., Founder of the Judicially Recognized New Milford and Bergen County Domestic Violence Awareness Symposiums.
Join community leaders and advocates for a powerful evening dedicated towards raising awareness and uniting our communities against hate and bias in all forms. 
New Milford's Anti-Bias Symposium will feature a roundtable discussion of experts on legal protections against hate crimes, the importance of incident reporting, and the value of community alliances.
 The Symposium is free and open to in-person attendance.&nbsp; No pre-registration is required. The event will also be live-streamed to the New Milford Public School District's YouTube Channel.
