Authorities Seeking Information Regarding Fatal Hit-And-Run In Teaneck
Juan Vasquez, 50 of Englewood, was killed Tuesday after he was struck while riding a bicycle, prosecutor says.

Authorities are looking for information regarding a hit-and-run accident in Teaneck Tuesday that killed an Englewood man.
Police received several 911 calls at 10:53 p.m. that a man was riding his bicycle at the intersection of East Englewood Avenue and Nelden Road in Teaneck when he was struck in a hit-and-run accident by a motor vehicle, said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.
The man, Juan Vasquez, 50, was immediately transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where he died from his injuries, Molinelli said.

Members of the prosecutor’s office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit and the Teaneck Police Department determined that Vasquez was struck on the passenger side of a moving vehicle attempting to make a left turn at the intersection onto Nelden Road at 10:53 p.m., authorities said.
The vehicle allegedly continued south on Neldon Road and left the scene, Molinelli said; it may be damaged on its passenger’s side.
