Back To School: Teaneck 2021-2022 School Calendar

TEANECK, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Teaneck, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Teaneck Public School District.

The first day of school for most students in Teaneck is Sept. 9.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Teaneck.

Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day, but Teaneck officials are planning for a full return to school. A full plan will be presented at an Aug. 25 board meeting, school officials said.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Teaneck Public Schools

First Day: Sept. 9

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31

Spring Break: April 11-15

Last Day: June 17
