Fatal Crash: 2 Killed In Truck-Car Collision On N.J. Turnpike

Two people were killed when tractor-trailer and a car collided on the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday, police said.

Both people in the car were killed in the late Sunday crash near Exit 70 in Teaneck, according to the State Police.

A man and a woman in a Nissan Altima died, according to the State Police.

No information was provided on the deceased or the truck driver, who remained at the scene, police said.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of the Turnpike for about four hours.
