BREAKING: N.J. Manhunt For Christmas Hit-And-Run Driver Who Killed Pedestrian
N.J. police say they're looking for the driver of a large black and "shiny" SUV who killed a pedestrian on Christmas.

A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in New Jersey on Christmas evening, police said, and now authorities are looking for the driver.
A 59-year-old man was fatally struck Friday by what was described as a large black and “shiny” SUV, police said. Police withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
Police were on the scene of the accident Friday as a manhunt for the suspect continued.

Police initially responded to reports of a pedestrian struck at Cedar Lane and Garrison Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Friday in Teaneck, according to Sgt. George Molina of the Teaneck Police Department.
The vehicle was last seen going eastbound on Cedar Lane, and witnesses said the SUV had front passenger-side damage and possible windshield damage, said police.

Police closed Cedar Lane for several hours Friday after the accident, and then reopened it soon after.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit is also investigating.
