For over 25 years, the U.S. has waged a covert campaign to destabilize Venezuela through attempted coups and devastating economic sanctions that have killed more than 100,000 people. Now Washington appears to be returning to old-style gunboat imperialism—while funding genocide in Palestine, prolonging the war in Ukraine, and deploying militarized forces to carry out ethnic cleansing and terror in U.S. cities.The USS Gerald Ford, the largest aircraft carrier in the world has arrived near the coast of Venezuela, accompanied by an armada of destroyers, fighter jets, attack helicopters, cruise missiles and more than 12,000 troops - seamen, Marines and special ops troops.
