Discover the plethora of treatment options for pain that don't require medication

We've all read about the debilitating side effects of costly prescription drugs to treat chronic pain. Dr. Michael Cooney discusses a new alternative pain treatment he is using with great success, scrambler therapy.

I've been a practicing chiropractic physician in Bergen County for more than 30 years at Rutherford Allied Medical Group. Some years ago, I was frustrated that we had some patients for whom traditional chiropractic services, even alternative therapies, did not lessen or alleviate their acute or chronic pain.

Dr. Robert Kelly, our staff physician, and I agreed we would not resort to him doling out scripts for painkillers to these patients. We had to find a new alternative. Thus, our two-year search for another solution led us, finally, to Calmare Pain Therapy Treatment.

Every day, we see patients suffering from neuropathy who live down the street or across the country (as far away as Europe and Australia) in need of a new pain management treatment to rid them of acute and the most severe chronic pain.

Don't automatically accept an expensive prescription for narcotics to treat your pain. Ask a pain management specialist about other treatments that do not come with the potential for eventual addiction and debilitating side effects that diminish your quality of life.

Regardless of your pain source, do not give up the search for a treatment that can help you. There are many options available. But you have to find the one that works for you.
