The Garden Club of Teaneck’s Patricia O’Brien Libutti will present HERBS: FLAVOR & FUN. Pat will show how herbs make ordinary cooking extraordinary. She will show slides of flavorful herbs from far and near and then extend looking into cooking. Attendees will identify herbs by aroma, sample herb dishes from Garden Club members, get culinary tips – and take home an “herblet” for the winter!
Pat presents herb workshops locally, has taught herb classes to children and will be teaching “Herbs” at the Teaneck Community Education Center. A member of the Herb Society of America and of the 2012 Master Gardener class, she maintains an herb blog (urbanherban.blogspot.com) and is studying medicinal herbs.
