Musicians, poets, comedians and other performance artists are invited to the monthly Lion's Den Coffee House at Carroll Hall in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, an open microphone venue in a relaxed, welcoming space for artistic and cultural expression. The coffee house is open to people of all backgrounds and admission is free. Participants are invited to offer acoustic or lightly amplified music, poetry, comedy, dance, dramatic readings, or other types of performance art. Lion's Dens are held on the last Saturday evening of each month starting at 7:00 p.m., and they run about three hours. Individuals and groups who wish to participate may sign up that evening. Coffee, tea, and refreshments are provided by the organizing committee, and all are welcome to attend. We'll see you there!
