Teen Auditions: La Cage at Garage Theatre

The Garage Theatre Group’s Youth Conservatory is looking for talented teens for its next production: The Tony Award-winning La Cage Aux Folles by Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Herman.  Auditions will be held March 17 and 18 at the Becton Theatre, 960 River Road, on the Fairleigh Dickinson campus in Teaneck.

      Auditions for La Cage are open to teens 13 – 18 years old, though Youth Conservatory alumni up to 21 years of age are also invited to audition.  Performances will be held June 1 – 3 and 8 – 10 at the Becton Theater.

     Auditions for La Cage Aux Folles will be held from noon to 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 17, and 2 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, March 18.  Those auditioning should prepare a song, bring sheet music or instrumental CD, and come dressed to dance.
