The Garden Club of Teaneck is hosting a Wreath and Floral Arrangement demonstration

The finished arrangements will be raffled off to attendees.
At this month’s meeting, Christina Mackensen will demonstrate how to make beautiful seasonal displays from greenery and from home-and-garden-found objects.
Christina grew up on a farm in Germany (planting lots of potatoes and weeding lots of crops) but once she emigrated to the USA, she caught up with her formal education, receiving a BS in Accounting, an MBA in Finance and emerging a CPA.

After she moved to Teaneck in the 80’s, her love of gardening took ascendency – so much so that her children persuaded her to study the subject formally. She did and got a degree in Ornamental Horticulture.
For the last three years, Christina has been the Horticultural Director of the Teaneck Greenhouse, introducing new and unusual plants for sale to the public at the Club's annual spring flower sale.
