FDU Helps Veterans Make The Transition From Military To College

Whether a student is coming to FDU from the military or is planning to enter the service through ROTC, assistance is available.

Young adulthood is a time of transitions. For many older teenagers it’s a time of heading from high school to college, but for a smaller number of individuals it’s a time to move from school to serving in the military. Martha Papson Garcia is the Director of Veterans Services for Outreach and the ROTC liaison in the Office of Veterans Services at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck.

In this Cranford Radio interview she talks about her work with veterans who are attending college after their service and those students who plan to enter the military through ROTC.
