GoFundMe Established For Family Of Woman Shot Dead In Bergen County
A GoFundMe to support the family of a Little Ferry woman shot dead this week has raised more than $53,000 as of Friday morning.

LITTLE FERRY, NJ — A GoFundMe to support the family of a Bergen County woman shot dead this week has raised almost $60,000 as of mid-afternoon Friday.
Omelly Dominguez, 21, was studying to be a nurse, according to the GoFundMe page. Little Ferry police found her dead Tuesday from a gunshot wound.
"Omelly Dominguez was one of the sweetest and most kind-hearted people you could ever meet," her mother Juana wrote on the page. "This beautiful 21-year-old young woman was a graduate of Union City High School and was currently a junior at William Paterson University, studying to become a nurse."

The GoFundMe will go to funeral costs and temporary living expenses, the family said.
"Her family and friends are absolutely devastated by the sudden loss of their beloved daughter, sister, and friend," Juana wrote. "She leaves behind her mother, Juana Dominguez, her brothers Gregory and Isaiah, and her stepfather Angel Carrion."

Omelly's sister Angielly, 25, has been arrested in connection with her death.
