Holy Name Medical Center Has No Coronavirus Patients: Report

The hospital, which was one of the hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic, has no current COVID-19 patients.

TEANECK, NJ — Holy Name Medical Center, one of the hospitals at the epicenter New Jersey's coronavirus pandemic, has no coronavirus patients, Northjersey.com reports.

Chief Medical Officer Adam Jarrett told the publication that the last COVID-19 patient was discharged earlier this week.

But that doesn't mean the pandemic is over, and the hospital is letting its guard down.

“I’m not saying we’re not going to see more in-patients,” Jarrett said. “I think we will.”

The New Jersey Department of Health on Friday reported 49 new positive cases in Bergen County, bringing the county total to 19,827. Across the state, the NJDOH reports 174,628 total positive cases.
