Mobile Coronavirus Testing Comes To Teaneck

TEANECK, NJ — Bergen County's community mobile coronavirus testing initiative will stop in Teaneck on Monday, July 20.

Started in May, the program, a partnership between the county and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, was launched in an effort to expand testing across the county.

Testing for first responders is available from 9 to 10 a.m. Non-first responders will be tested between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

In addition to the saliva test available to all residents and community members, first responders, healthcare workers and Bergen County community members who had a prior positive COVID-19 test can receive an antibody test. There is a testing limit of 100 tests a day for the antibody tests.

The mobile testing site will take place at the Richard Rodda Center located at 250 Colonial Court.

Those who wish to receive a test should bring a form of identification, proof of residency in the county or employment with municipal or county government, and an insurance card, if applicable.
