Man Sentenced To 10 Years For Sexually Assaulting Child In Teaneck, Passaic

PATERSON, NJ — A man was sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison for sexually assaulting a child in Passaic and Teaneck, officials said.

Ubaldo Flores-Mora, 42, of Passaic will be eligible for parole after eight and a half years, according to a news release. He was sentenced Wednesday.

After he is released, Flores-Mora will be on parole for life. He must also register as a sex offender with the state, according to Megan's Law.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the sentence in a joint news release.

Flores-Mora was arrested in September of 2020. He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree sexual assault in November of 2021, according to the news release. He confessed to sexually assaulting a juvenile at a residence in Passaic and a business in Teaneck, officials said.
