Police Seek Help In Hit-And-Run That Killed Teaneck Man

Breaking: There is evidence indicating Brian P. Rossi, 28, was struck by more than 1 vehicle on Route 46 Friday morning.

TEANECK, NJ — Authorities are looking for the driver or drivers who struck and killed a township man after a hit-and-run Friday.

Brian P. Rossi, 28, was pronounced dead at the intersection of Route 46 East near Industrial Avenue, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir Grewal.

The Moonachie Police Department received a call at 5:50 a.m. that a pedestrian was lying on the highway, Grewal said. Police responded and found Rossi's body on the road.

There is evidence indicating that Rossi was hit by more than one vehicle, all of which fled the scene going east on Route 46, the prosecutor said.
