Rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Charged With Gun Possession
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced that the rapper was arrested Monday after a search of his Demarest residence.

DEMAREST, NJ — The rapper A Boogie was arrested at his home Monday after detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office seized guns, ammunition and marijuana, the Prosecutor's Office announced.
Born Artist J. Dubose, the rapper was arrested along with his manager, Samblou Camara, of Bergenfield, and Quashaun Hagler, of Buford, Georgia.
On Monday, Daily Voice reported a shooting outside of RAIN nightclub in Teaneck. Uproxx and HipHopDX reported that the rapper was at the club at the time, but didn't specify if the rapper was involved.

A video posted to WorldStarHipHop showed scenes from outside the club, and also included a man seemingly saying he and Dubose were exchanging insurance information after a minor car accident when shots were fired.

On Tuesday morning, a Teaneck Police official said the department couldn't comment on the details of the shooting.
Authorities said a search of Dubose's home resulted in the seizure of four guns, hollow point bullets, high capacity magazines, marijuana, hashish oil, edibles and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities seized marijuana and hasish oil during separate search of Camara's Bergenfield home, they said.
Detectives from the New York Police Department, and officers from the Demarest Police Department assisted in the searches.
Dubose is charged with one count of unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of marijuana and a disorderly persons offense. Hagler is charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a large capacity magazine. Camara is charged with marijuana possession.
The three men have since been released, authorities said.
Originally from the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, A Boogie first gained notoriety in 2016 along with collaborator Don Q. He was signed to Atlantic Records the same year.
A rapper-singer hybrid, Dubose was named a XXL Freshman in 2017. His biggest records include 2019's "Look Back At It" and 2017's "Drowning", featuring the South Florida rapper Kodak Black.
