Robbers Hold Up Teaneck Pharmacy, Escape With Oxycodone, Report Says

No cash was taken and no one was injured, police said.

Two men held up a Teaneck pharmacy Sunday morning and escaped with a large amount of prescription oxycodone pills, The Record reported.

No cash was taken and no one was injured, Sgt. John Garland said in the report.

The two men walked into Alvin’s Pharmacy on Cedar Lane at 10:40 a.m., according to the report; one of the men showed a silver handgun and the other walked behind the counter and took the bottles from a left and they left, Garland said in the report.

The men took between 20 and 30 bottles of oxycodone pills; a typical bottle is sold to pharmacies with 100 pills in it, according to the report.

The gunman was about 5-foot 9 and 200 pounds and was dressed in blue jeans, boots, and a black leather jacket and hooded sweatshirt, police said in the report. The other man was about 6 feet tall, 220 pounds and was wearing a hooded black jacket, a red shirt, and camouflage pants.
