Teaneck Cocaine Dealer Arrested After Investigation: Prosecutor

BREAKING: Stephen A. Lopez-Lejarde, 31, sold cocaine to an undercover detective earlier this year, officials said.

TEANECK, NJ — A township man was arrested and charged Wednesday with dealing cocaine, authorities announced.

Stephen A. Lopez-Lejarde, 31, was arrested after he sold cocaine to an undercover detective from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in town, Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced.

The arrest came after the prosecutor’s office received information in March that Lopez-Lejarde, a restaurant owner, was involved with distributing cocaine in Teaneck. An investigation began and Lopez-Lejarde was arrested, Grewal said,

Lopez-Lejarde was released on a summons pending a first appearance in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court Dec. 20, the prosecutor said.
