Teaneck Coronavirus Testing Rescheduled Due To Heat
Originally scheduled for Monday, mobile coronavirus testing in Teaneck has been moved to Wednesday due to excessive heat.
TEANECK, NJ — Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announced Sunday that the mobile testing location in Teaneck will not be open Monday due to an excessive heat warning.
The mobile testing site date has been moved to Wednesday, he said.
Started in May, the program, a partnership between the county and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, was launched in an effort to expand testing across the county.

Testing for first responders is available from 9 to 10 a.m. Non-first responders will be tested between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
In addition to the saliva test available to all residents and community members, first responders, healthcare workers and Bergen County community members who had a prior positive COVID-19 test can receive an antibody test. There is a testing limit of 100 tests a day for the antibody tests.

The mobile testing site will take place at the Richard Rodda Center located at 250 Colonial Court.
Those who wish to receive a test should bring a form of identification, proof of residency in the county or employment with municipal or county government, and an insurance card, if applicable.
