Six candidates ran for three township council seats. Unofficial results as of Monday morning show the likely three winners.

TEANECK — Six candidates ran for three seats on the Teaneck Township Council, and unofficial results as of Monday morning indicate who the new faces will be.

Michael Pagan received the most votes, 5,117, with Mark J. Schwartz, 5,089, and Kargen Orgen, 5,078 positioned to take the final two seats.

  • Write-in totals — 136

Though the town website indicates the results are still unofficial, Deputy Mayor Elie Y. Katz took to his email newsletter to congratulate the likely winners on Sunday, May 17.

The trio also participated in a live Zoom call on the Moving Teaneck Forward Facebook page on Sunday.
