The Teaneck Farmers Market is back with more variety for its 17th season. Check out the video to see what the vendors have to offer.

The Teaneck Farmers' Market is back and providing Teaneck and the Bergen County community with locally grown produce and products from nearby vendors for the 17th year in a row.

Margaret Aker, the Teaneck Farmers Market manager, has been making strides in an effort to offer consumers a larger variety of options than they had while shopping at the market 17 years ago.

“I’ve tried to expand (the Teaneck Farmers Market) with different gourmet vendors,” Aker said.  “I’m trying to get a diversity of different foods here."

On any given Thursday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., when the market is in session, consumers can find north Jersey produced honey, falafel, fresh mozzarella, homemade apple pies, flowers and a variety of other products at the market.

“Everything is very inexpensive, less than the supermarket, and better quality,” Diane Carlson, a regular at the Teaneck Farmers Market, said of the products she buys weekly.
