Teaneck Hosts Virtual Tree Lighting Wednesday
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony will be livestreamed on Facebook, officials said.
TEANECK, NJ — Holiday festivities in Teaneck will look a little different this year, but, unlike some other cities and towns across the state, township officials won't cancel them outright.
On Wednesday, township officials and local religious leaders will light the Teaneck holiday tree on the municipal green, but residents will not be in attendance.
The ceremony has gone virtual for 2020, officials announced, adding that the event will be livestreamed on Facebook starting at 6 p.m.
