Teaneck Man Charged with Threatening to Kill Ramapo Administrator

A former Ramapo student was charged with threatening to kill a school official.

A former Ramapo College student was charged after allegedly threatening to kill a college administrator.

Zachary Rackman, 24 from Teaneck, threatened Eric Daffron, the vice provost for curriculum and assessment at Ramapo College in Mahwah, by email in January, according to The Record.

The Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack handed down the indictment, which said Rackman “did threaten to kill Eric Daffron and/or faculty and students.”

This isn’t Rackman’s first time making threats.

Rackman allegedly threatened to kill New Jersey State Police officials and retaliated against past official action, according to The Record.
