WHAT IS THE 2020 CENSUS? - The Census is a survey to count every person in the United States, which helps government officials make important decisions that affect our lives.

The Constitution requires that every ten years, every person living in the United States must be counted: all ages, races, and ethnic groups including citizens and non-citizens.

By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. You will have three options for responding: Online, by phone, or by mail.

In mid-March, every household will begin receiving official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 Census.
