Teaneck's Municipal Building Open For Late Night Voter Registration

As a reminder, Teaneck's May 12, 2020 Municipal Election will be entirely Vote by Mail. Bergen County will send the official mail-in ballot, regardless if you requested one, to the address on your voter registration form.

The deadline to register to vote in Teaneck’s May 12, 2020 Municipal Election is April 21, 2020.

Voter Registration forms must be POSTMARKED by April 21, 2020 in order to participate and receive a mail-in ballot for Teaneck’s 2020 May Municipal Election.

You can obtain a voter registration form at this link: https://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/assets/pdf/forms-voter-registration/68-voter-registration-english-bergen.pdf - If you are able to print the form from your home and mail back to the Bergen County Superintendent of Elections, no postage necessary. You cannot email your voter registration form.

Voter Registration can be done in person on Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 1 Bergen County Plaza:

• The Bergen County Superintendent of Elections office will be open 8:30AM - 9:00PM on Tuesday, April 21st. The building is closed to the public so anyone who is coming to register must call the office, 201-336-6112 or 201-336-6101, when they arrive at One Bergen County Plaza. Someone will meet them at the door and take the registration. We will then bring to the office and stamp it timely, and complete the process.
• The office will also be open on Monday from 8:30am - 4:00pm to accept registrations. The same phone procedure must be used.

Voter Registration can also be done at the Teaneck Municipal Building, 818 Teaneck Road Teaneck, NJ 07666 on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 from 4-9PM:

• Staff from the Township Clerk's Office will be at the North Entrance Greeter Desk to meet any eligible residents who wish to register to vote on 4/21/20 from 4-9PM.
• One member of the public will be allowed inside at any given time - you must be wearing a face mask/covering and gloves to enter the building.

• All other residents must remain outside and adhere to social distancing requirements. Markers will be in place every 6' for separation purposes.

• The registrant will be able to fill out the form and hand to our office staff for submission to Bergen County Elections.
• Please bring your Driver's License with you.
