Township Of Teaneck: Advisory: Leaf Season Extended!

Due to the late Fall season foliage, leaf season will be extended this year. Residents will be permitted to rake leaves, loose grass, and small plants into the roadway at curbside until December 15th.  Do NOT place logs, branches, stones, or large plant material in the street during this period of time. These materials are not suitable for composting and could damage the street cleaning equipment.  We will continue to evaluate leaf pickup operations and make a determination prior to December 15th, if there's a need for another extension.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
