Teaneck Public Library is pleased to announce the addition of the online learning platform Lynda.com to its growing collection of digital resources. Lynda.com is an online learning site that hosts a constantly growing library of over 3,000 courses that include over 130,000 video tutorials.
While Lynda.com normally requires a paid individual subscription, Teaneck residents can now access this content from any computer with an Internet connection simply by entering their 14-digit library card number and 4-digit PIN.
Courses cover a variety of topics, including business, software, technology, design, marketing, photography, and other creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. These courses are delivered by expert instructors and feature searchable transcripts that make it easy to find quick answers to questions.

“In the wake of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Teaneck residents are seeking to develop the skills necessary for new or improved job opportunities,” says Allen McGinley, Library Director.
“The reality of the 21st century is that we no longer start our careers with all of the skills necessary to be successful,” McGinley adds. “Lynda.com will connect residents to new and emerging competencies to stay ahead of the curve in our changing world.”
