Vigil For Ukraine Is Thursday In Teaneck
A vigil for Ukraine is scheduled Thursday night in Teaneck, to show support for citizens of the Eastern European country.
TEANECK, NJ — A vigil for Ukraine is scheduled Thursday night in Teaneck, to show support for citizens of the Eastern European country as Russian bombs continue to fall from the sky.
Township Manager Dean B. Kazinci announced the vigil on the township's Facebook page. It will be held Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. on the Municipal Green.
Members of the Teaneck Council and Clergy Council will be there, as well as Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ-05).

"We encourage all those with Ukrainian ties and those without to come to the Municipal Green to pray for peace, faith, wisdom and courage for those suffering, and for the lives lost during the invasion," Kazinci wrote. "The attack on Ukraine is so difficult for all of us to watch. The vigil Thursday evening will show our support for those living in Ukraine, and all Ukrainians living in our region."
