Police Release Surveillance Footage Of Teaneck Gunpoint Robbery
Authorities are looking for a black man who allegedly robbed a man on Teaneck Road at gunpoint Saturday.
TEANECK, N.J. — Police are looking for a black man they said robbed a man at gunpoint on Teaneck Road late Saturday afternoon.
Police received a report of an armed robbery in front of Emilio Barber Shop at 1207 Teaneck Road Saturday at 5:51 p.m., said police Chief Robert A. Carney.
A black man allegedly walked up to a man and a witness, brandished a handgun, and demanded money, Carney said.

One of the men gave the man money, who then fled north on Teaneck Road and was seen entering a black Toyota Camry, possibly bearing a New York registration, the chief said. The incident was recorded by a nearby surveillance camera.
The alleged robber appeared to be a black man in his 20s or 30s, wore a black sleeveless shirt, a Yankees baseball cap, and tight fitting blue jeans with holes in the front, and black sneakers, police said.
