Accepting Prom Dress Donations

The annual Ocean County Library Prom Dress Giveaway provides dresses to middle school and high school aged students at no charge so they can attend their school’s dances. Last year more than 700 prom dresses were distributed!

The Ocean County Library Prom Dress Giveaway event has been so successful  that they are running low on dresses! Donations are still being accepted at all branches through April 26nd!

**Gently used teen appropriate dresses only, no bridesmaid dresses or Mother of the Bride please . In particular, larger sizes would be greatly appreciated.

The event will be hosted at the following branches for the remainder of April:

Barnegat Branch
Tuesday, April 19th @ 4 – 8:00
Wednesday, April 20th @ 4 – 8:00
Toms River Branch
Wednesday April 27th @ 4 – 8:00
Thursday April 28th @ 4 – 8:00
