After a Winter of Renovation, Jack Baker's Water Street Grille Now Open

Chef's International revamped its old Lobster Shanty into Water Street Grille

This week, the transition from Lobster Shanty to Bar & Grille is complete.

Tonight begins the grand opening weekend for the revamped restaurant, which was closed for renovation throughout the winter.

The website for Chef’s International, who owns the restaurant and several others, announces Baker’s Water Street Bar & Grille is now open. Previously Chef's International operated the restaurant as Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty, before closing for a major renovation into Baker's Water Street.

The Robbins Parkway business sign is changed to read Baker’s Water Street Bar & Grille, and a banner to the same hangs over where the Lobster Shanty sign once was.

The restaurant on the Toms River riverfront is planning live entertainment Wednesdays through Sundays, and happy hours 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
