Alzheimer's Association Greater NJ Chapter - Volunteer Spotlight

Caitlyn Wojcik, Caregiver Support Group Facilitator and Mentor, Impacts the Lives of Those Living With Alzheimer's and Their Caregivers

The Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter, the leading volunteer-driven voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, advocacy and research is spotlighting people who make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Today we say “thank you” to Caitlyn Wojcik (second from right), who serves as the Caregiver Support Group facilitator at Advanced Memory Research Institute in Toms River and mentors newly trained facilitators in communities throughout Ocean County.

Caitlyn enjoys helping people and is passionate about providing a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, and learn about community resources.
