Another Benefit Set For Injured Toms River Police Officer
Breaking: The fundraiser is set for Sunday.

NEPTUNE, NJ — Another fundraiser has been set up to help with the continuing medical costs for Brett Hansen, the Toms River police officer and Brick Township resident who was injured in an off-duty crash in January.
The benefit for Hansen, 28, will be held Sunday, April 2 at the Headliner in Neptune from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and there will be a gift auction and a 50/50 raffle as well, organizers said on a flyer about the event.
There will be live entertainment by Suspended Justice, happy hour pricing on cocktails and a free buffet.

Hansen continues to recover from the Jan. 4 crash, where his car hit a tractor trailer. His mother, Lori, said in a GoFundme campaign post, that he suffered serious facial injuries, losing one eye completely.
