The Township Council is set to meet, and a look back at headlines from last week.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — It's a busy week ahead in Toms River, with council and zoning board meetings and the final run-up to the 2021 election.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, and is anticipated to hear a proposal by the owners of Jamestowne Village to add seven apartment buildings to the complex on Walnut Street.
The agenda for Thursday's meeting, which will be held on the second floor at Town Hall, had not been posted publicly as of Sunday night, but the proposed apartments were raised during the Toms River Regional Board of Education meeting on Oct. 20. The application had been scheduled to be heard in September but was postponed.
