Autism and IDD Professionals Panel Discussion Coming to the Toms River Library

TOMS RIVER – There are many types of medical providers and therapists who work with those affected by autism or other intellectual/developmental disabilities. Do you know who they are and what they do? Find out during a panel discussion from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24 at the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library.

You have likely heard of neurologists, psychiatrists, developmental pediatricians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. During this panel discussion, each professional will present an overview of their field. Learn how they work, how their service benefits the patient, and the intake process for new patients.

A Q&A session will be held at the conclusion of the program.
