Boy Scouts Honor Noelle Carino with Scouting's Good Turn Award

The Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce CEO will receive the award at Boy Scouts annual Garden Party June 24th

The Jersey Shore Council, Boy Scouts of America have named the outstanding individual to receive the Good Turn Award at the 24th Annual Ocean County Garden Party. The Good Turn Award is presented to an individual who is a leader in the community, exemplifying the ideals of Scouting in their business and personal lives. Jersey Shore Council, Boy Scouts of America will present the award during its 24th annual Ocean County Garden Party at Diane and Bruce Turton’s residence in Point Pleasant, on Sunday, June 24th from 2:00-4:00 PM.

The 2018 Good Turn Award winner is Noelle Carino, Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce’s CEO. Noelle became CEO of the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce in 2014. She has driven a new era of economic innovation and growth through promoting the development of new and existing businesses throughout the Toms River area. Noelle co-founded and operated LSI Distributors, a consumer electronics company, which sold in 2014.

Noelle has served on the Board of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, Ocean’s Harbor House, Redeem-Her, Washington Street PTO, and Your Grandmother’s Cupboard. Currently, she serves on the Board of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School Foundation, Hope Sheds Light, Toms River Business Improvement District, Toms River Field of Dreams, OpportunityNJ, the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and is the Chair of the Ocean County College Foundation. Additionally, she sits on multiple committees and task forces, volunteers as a server at the JBJ Soul Kitchen, and is a Deacon at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Most recently, Noelle launched FemCity Collective Toms River - a network of local business women who meet regularly to share best practices.

Jersey Shore Council, Boy Scouts of America is proud to honor Noelle as the 2018 Good Turn Award winner as she is an outstanding leader in the community personally and professionally. Jim Gillick, Scout Executive for the Jersey Shore Council, Boy Scouts of America, states, “Noelle Carino has a strong dedication and love for our community. She embodies the ideals of Scouting making her an exemplary citizen and role model for future generations. We are privileged to honor her as the Good Turn Award winner at this year’s Ocean County Garden Party.”
