We take turns around the circle singing songs and maybe singing or playing along. We sing folk songs, pop songs, and hymns, and sometimes we have an improvised music jam. The only rule is that it’s all acoustic, with no amplifiers or microphones. Everyone is welcome to take a turn in the circle, or just to listen. If you come just to listen, feel free to bring a quiet activity such as sketching or reading. From saucers to superheroes and anything in between, the subject matter is your selection !!! Utilize your own photo reference material, or borrow from the instructor. This class is for teens who enjoy making art but need guidance with drawing skills, use of materials, color choices and composition. The principles of design, composition, value are learned using the traditional art materials of various pencils, watercolor, acrylic and pastel… or a combination of medium. Students should bring their own materials and their creativity, with a willingness to experiment with new ideas and/or new materials. If a beginner artist, bring a sketch pad (10×12), drawing pencils and a kneaded rubber eraser. To encourage growth as an artist, it is helpful to this instructor if for the first few sessions, students bring in a few samples of their art, to initiate a discussion about their learning goals.

All dogs are different, they each have their own unique personality. I do not offer cookie cutter one size fits all training. My training exercises have some basic elements; I customize this framework to your dog's way of learning desired behaviors. I avoid aversive training techniques like choke or shock collars. The best deal I offer is a 5 cue (command) package for $400. Payment schedule is taylored to fit your budget, cash, personal check or Venmo. I do not accept credit cards. My own dog Thor, I rescued from hoarders with over 180 dogs kept in horrific conditions. I love my 68 lbs guy who thinks he's a lap dog. I will treat your dog with the same love and respect as I treat my own.

I’ve been in the hair industry for over 20 years, and opening my own salon has always been a lifelong dream. I named the salon in honor of my father, who passed away last year. He was the proud dad of five daughters, and with his passing, his name would have ended with him. By giving the salon his name, I’ve created a way to keep his legacy alive and honor the strong work ethic and values he instilled in me.
